Yonghe Zhang

Director

Born in July 1977, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor, Vice President of the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites, CAS, director of the Key Laboratory for Satellite Digitization Technology, CAS. His research mainly focuses on space science detection technology, especially in spacecraft system design and simulation, as well as drag-free formation control for gravitational wave detection. In recent years, he has published more than 30 academic papers and won honors such as the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress, the First Prize of Military Science and Technology Progress, and the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Born in February 1983, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor, Director of the R&D Center, and Vice Director of the Key Laboratory for Satellite Digitization Technology, CAS. His research mainly focuses on key technology design and product development of satellite communication, satellite overall design, and satellite integrated electronics. He has published 78 papers and obtained 81 patents and won awards such as the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Excellent Academic Leader, and Shanghai Young Top Talent.

Ye Zhu

Ye Zhu

Vice Director

Born in September 1982, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor, Director of the Telecommunication Satellite division, Vice Director of the Key Laboratory for Satellite Digitization Technology, CAS. His research mainly focuses on satellite general technologies such as mass satellite manufacturing, satellite autonomous health management, and autonomous operation. The research achievements have been applied to the iterative optimization of innovative satellite platforms, continuously supporting the development and construction of multiple low-orbit satellite systems in China.

Farid Gamgami

Farid Gamgami

Vice Director

Born in December 1977, senior researcher, and Vice Director of the Key Laboratory for Satellite Digitization Technology, CAS. He holds a master's degree in aerospace engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Doctor of Natural Sciences in theoretical astrophysics at Heidelberg University. His research focuses on innovative holistic digital design methodologies and AI-powered concurrent engineering. He is also the author of the multidisciplinary textbook 《Space Propulsion and Spaceship Design》.

Wen Zheng

Wen Zheng

Academic Leader

Born in November 1985, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor, and an academic leader of the Key Laboratory for Satellite Digitization Technology, CAS. His research mainly focuses on artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and satellite digitization technologies. He has been recognized as the CAS Hundred Talents (Category B), Shanghai Global Outstanding Talent, and Shanxi Provincial Sanjin Talent (Outstanding Youth). As a senior researcher, he has led 17 national-level research projects, including the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grants. His academic output includes 1 monograph and over 80 SCI-indexed papers.

Xuwen Liang

Xuwen Liang

Born in May 1969, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor, and an academic leader of the Key Laboratory for Satellite Digitization Technology, CAS. His research mainly focuses on satellite communication, satellite navigation, signal processing and other spatial information fields, and is responsible for several national projects. He holds more than 30 authorized invention patents, has published more than 80 SCI/E papers.

Bin Wang

Bin Wang

Born in November 1981, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor. He has been recognized as the CAS Hundred Talents (Overseas Talent). His research mainly focuses on space weak force measurement technology, laser propulsion technology, and utilization of lunar resources through laser thermal decomposition. In recent years, he has led and participated in several projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the Frontier Exploration Program of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. He has won awards such as the Outstanding Award of the First National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition Finals, the First Prize of Tianjin Technological Invention, and the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the China Instrument and Control Society.

Zhuochen Xie

Zhuochen Xie

Born in August 1987, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor. His research mainly focuses on Space fault-tolerant computing, Space-based intelligent information processing and large AI models; Satellite 6G network communication. He has directed over 10 major research projects including the National Key R&D Program of China and the Strategic Priority Research Program of the CAS. He served as chief system designer for the "Space-Earth Integrated Information Network" under China's Scientific and Technological Innovation 2030 Major Project and led the G60 low-orbit broadband multimedia satellite constellation development.

Feng Tian

Feng Tian

Born in May 1989, senior researcher and doctoral supervisor. He is the vice director of the Technology Research Center of IAMC. He has been founded by the Qi Ming Xing, Yang Fan, U35 projects. His research mainly focuses on satellite communication network and satellite network payloads design. He has designed the network architecture of the Qian Fan and Xing Wang constellations network. He holds more than 10 authorized invention patents, has published more than 30 papers.

Yamin Wang

Yamin Wang

Born in November 1987, senior researcher and master's supervisor. His research mainly focuses on orbital dynamics and control, mission planning, and intelligent design methodologies for deep space exploration missions. He has been selected for the CAS Youth Innovation Promotion Association and the Youth Climbing Program of the CAS Shanghai Branch. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Chief Designer of the "Pathfinder-1" satellite system.
